2018 Conference

Developing Economics for a resource constrained world

9th International Conference

We are hosting this year's BioPhysical Economic Conference on June 13th - 17th, 2018, at charming Wells College in Aurora, NY, USA. Wells’ is a small college located on the East Shore of Cayuga Lake and offers a facility with the capacity for intimate meetings where we can easily share ideas. The price will include accommodation and catered meals. We have chosen this site because of its natural beauty, temperate climate, wonderful facilities and relatively low cost. The theme is: Developing Economics for a Resource Constrained World. We hope that you will consider attending this meeting. We are anticipating a diverse group of scientists who are contributing to the field of BioPhysical Economics and want you to submit an abstract.

Conference Program

Day 1: New evidence for the end of growth?

Day 2: Integrating biophysical science with political economy for a non-growing economy

Day 3: What's BioPhysical Economics' role for the financial community and investment

Day 4: The biophysical realities of agriculture in a resource constrained world
